Consider the benefits Rusty Roo has to offer – studio, accommodation & environment - the entire set up is geared so you have the time and inspiration to develop your proposed art form.

I was amazed at the productivity and creativity generated over the 4 days we were at the Retreat. The generous studio space, uninterrupted views and the solitude was extremely beneficial. I don’t think we  would have made our exhibition dead line without the time spent there.

Need a hassle free space so you can focus on your writing, cultural or group art project.

I has forgotten how beautiful nature is. The mist in the morning, the big King parrots and the ever changing Sun sets. I have found the return to my small city apartment suffocating after the liberating open spaces.

I can’t remember a time where I produced such sensitive and complete works. I don’t know if it was the time element, the rambling walks collecting bits of nature and looking at all the textures and colours or the sharing of laughter and advice…what ever the reason I was thrilled with the entire experience.

The initial reaction to sit and enjoy the view while sipping wine and swinging in the hammocks was soon replaced by an urge to get moving with the painting. Being able to paint all day and well into the evening was great. Then to start, continue or reinvestigate ideas, throughout our time together was an incredible experience. Great
