 Painting in the landscape.

October  2008      Friday 3rd -  Sunday 5th.

Nicola Moss       MULTIPLE LAYERS – An experimental Process.

This workshop is an opportunity to experiment, try ideas, let go, and work through process without knowing the end point; and see where it takes you.

We will explore ways of layering; working with techniques of glazing, mark-making, silhouette, print reduction and multiple views; in paint and various media. We will attempt to develop works that immerse the viewer and slowly reveal; through rich varied surface and layered imagery. We will source the surrounding landscape for visual inspiration.

We happen to agree with Bob Dylan   ‘ .. the answer my friend is blowing in the wind .. ’ all you need is to be given the place, guidance and time to listen.
